You can use the filters to find exactly what you are interested in such as a breakdown of particular costs or expense types or by individual MPs. You can also search for everything claimed by every MP.
In the interests of transparency, we also publish claims which have not been paid or not paid in full.
We publish new information every two months.
Once a year we also publish a summary of the total costs incurred by each MP during the financial year, including staffing costs and details of any connected parties (such as partners or relatives) they employ.
IPSA abolished the mortgage interest subsidy available to MPs when introducing the new Scheme for MPs’ Business Costs and Expenses in 2010. The new Scheme contained transitional arrangements for returning MPs, including a process to recoup for the taxpayer an appropriate level of any capital gain made. These arrangements expired in August 2012, and details on the repayment of any capital gain is published here
